First Communion Appts are in full swing and will continue into Jan/Feb/March.

We operate a 1 style per school policy. 

​We stock a variety of styles, full length and ballet length and sizes from Age 7 up to Age 8xxl, 9xxl and 10xxl. Dresses are paid in full and taken home on the day from available stock.

We have a selection of carryover styles reduced to £100-£150 as well as some accessories reduced inc shoes and veils.

​Please note that where Walk-ins are available some days, the diary can change rapidly so it is always safer to book to ensure you get in straight away.

THE BRIDAL SHOWROOM IS A BRIDAL SHOP IN DERRY CITY, SPRINGTOWN, OFF THE BUNCRANA ROAD. WE SPECIALISE IN BRIDAL GOWNS AND FIRST COMMUNION DRESSES. When you visit us, our first aim is to make you feel very welcome and relaxed, you will be visiting an established, independent, family-run and Award winning Bridal Shop, we have had the pleasure of looking after local brides for almost 30 years. You may remember our old premises in Pennyburn and we are here now in Springtown over 13 years now. A bridal appointment with us is in a very private setting, and is one-to-one with one of our experienced Bridal Consultants, so you will have our full attention during your appointment.

What do you want to know before visiting our boutique?

Here are a few pointers but please feel free to call or email us to discuss any questions you might have, as we know when wedding dress shopping is a new experience for you, you can be nervous and perhaps unsure of what to expect.     

• We do not charge for appointments 

• We will be your personal shopper to make your shopping experience stress free. ​

• We cater for a wide variety of styles, sizes and budgets.

 They are not all shown online and images may vary from our sample size in store, so the best action is to book in with us.

• We operate a No Fresh Tan policy to help keep our dresses in pristine condition, should someone need a dress urgently off the peg.

• We take great pride in the presentation of our stock. 

• We have a selection of Ready to Wear dresses if you are getting married soon. 

• We also have to make way for new dresses coming in, so we always have a selection of Take Home Today styles that you can leave with on the day. 

• If ordering, average order time is approx 5-8 months. 

• Your seamstress will want to do your first fitting about 8-10 weeks prior to your wedding date. We give you contact details for a seamstress upon purchasing your bridal gown with us, although nowadays most brides can have their seamstress booked before coming to us. If you know someone or have worked with someone before, you can go ahead and get them booked once you set your wedding date.

There is free parking right outside the shop and we are wheelchair accessible and we are on the ground floor with no stairs.

FIRST COMMUNION 2026 SEASON

Orders can be taken up until the end of November. 

From December 2025, dresses are purchased and taken home from available stock.

For the new 2026 season, we have brought in a wide variety of styles and sizes and both full length and ballet length and we have a good selection of XL sizes.
